Just a note to start with. This report nearly didn't happen. It seems that Verant have decided to change the name of the log file. There was me looking around for my notes and all I could find was a scrap piece of text from July 30th. I nearly died. This was one report I really wanted to enjoy doing. Anyway, after finding the right notes this is what I made of them....
Sceptered Isle took a raid up Hate. Nothing out of the ordinary. That was until we realised that the force we had could pretty much take on anything. The following report shows what went on during the raids events. I even managed to get a few quotes from people nearing the end of the raid as to what they thought of the raids events and their feelings.
When we arrived it was a great success, all the groups managed to get a wizard in it so they could all port up at once. Once everyone was up and in hate the killing started. With Dahaak pulling and Leoloo the Main Tank, the mobs went down quicker than a wizard can fizzle with his flappy.
Soon enough it was time to move on. The groups made their way around the outside walls to the spike which is a normal camp spot for raid parties to pull to.
Dahaak says, 'INCOMING >>>>>> Maestro of Rancor <<<<<<'
Leoloo says, 'ASSIST ME ON <<< Maestro of Rancor >>> NOW!'
Eravion says, 'Leo down!'
Dosi says, 'assist me on Maestro of Rancor now pls'
Dosi says, 'MAX range and circle Maestro of Rancor pls'
Maestro of Rancor says 'I'll teach you to interfere with me Dosi.'
Dosi was so polite in his request for assist that everyone engaged and followed instructions as things adjusted. I'm not to sure what Dosi was interfering with though to make the Maestro say things like that. Let us know Dosi.
Has anyone actually heard him play that thing? It must sound really bad with those maces in his hands.
I'm surprised Dosi was tall enough to reach this guy.
With the Maestro down it was time to award the loot and then move on to the next encounter
Dahaak says, 'who is The Deathrot Knight? Red to me'
Rasuphas says, 'new, just popped'
Dahaak says, 'problem, he is right where we have to pass if we want to get to 2nd floor'
Orcman says, 'k ppl are checking now'
It turns out that this mob was a Level 64 Shadowknight. Newly added to the Hate Plane and related to a quest in the Jaggedpine Forest that ends in a Silver Blade of Thunder. After general discussion it was decided that we would prepare and take on this mob. The clerics got their rotation sorted out. The Enchanters Runed, the Wizards Spellshielded, everyone else buffed and soon the new mob was upon us.

So with the big evil down the groups headed up for the 2nd Floor. With a more relaxed feel the groups continued to kill the mini bosses with ease. This was the time I took to ask a few people about their time here.
When Kadarn was asked about his New Loot his reply was, 'aye, I love it. Im happy :D'
Eravion was over the moon with his new Imbrued Platemail Breastplate.
Llamikins was happy with her new robe. However there was talk about taking all the Blue Diamonds and Diamonds and making them into a lovely accessory piece.
Flumia was awarded Ethereal Mist gauntlets. When asked how she felt about it she seemed so overwhelmed all she could come out with was... 'Well I dont know :)'
Tenuli seemed very happy with his new Lute. When asked how he felt I think he thought he was at the oscar's giving a speech to his public. Tenuli says, 'Well I of course thank everyone for this fine instrument and hope to play many fine tunes on it'
When asking Dahaak what he wished to add to the report he said, 'I dont even wish my worst enemy to pull here'
Orcman was asked for a quote but he couldn't really think of any good ones he had. So I decided to pick one for him... Orcman says, 'Serthos shut up pls, or u can leave raid'. I'm sure there was good reason for this outburst which is advice to all, don't bug the raid leader when they are trying to sort out the Clerics, or you might not live to the end of the raid :)
Rasuphas was asked for a quote and at the ending of the raid he came back with, 'For gods sake drop a BP. I'm going away for 2 weeks tomorrow'
Rasuphas really has to be more careful where he steps and who he steps on.
Obbe seemed to be a bit pre-occupied when asking for his quote. Obbe says, 'hmm let see, I dont like all this 2 boxing especially when switching target, it causes chanters deaths.' He also added, 'Its hard to speak with player that 2 box'.
It seemed that Bender was looking for a lot more from an already fun packed raid. Bender says, 'hmmm not much has happened really. BAH, I suck at thinking i just realize :)'
Serthos when asked for a quote came back with an essay, 'This place is to easy, its not like you need 40 people to do this anymore :). Maybe did when I joined allmost 1 year ago...but seems we have grown a little, thinking of the mobs I didnt even get to nuke before they are dead, hehe. The funniest thing...easy...orcy giving dosi FS 2hander :)'
But overall the funniest moment of the raid was when Rasuphas was discovered as not being as high up in the guild as people imagined...
Rasuphas says, 'Anyway I think I'm due a promotion'
Rasuphas says, 'I was serious about that. Target me and do guildstatus'
Bender says, 'LOL'
Lillan says, 'what?'
Shadowpuma says, 'haha, Ras is a member'
Orcman says, '/burp'
Rasuphas says, 'I removed myself a couple of weeks ago in a rage'
Orcman says, 'u important again now ras'
Aegamin says, 'Grats Ras'
Rengan says, 'Gratz ras'
Saaga says, 'Gratz Ras'
Rasuphas says, 'Stop that I've been an officer for 3 years you daft buggers'
Orcman says, 'ras is 2nd in command here btw'

Aaar cast 273 times
Orcman cast 215 times
Shadowpuma cast 306 times
Serthos spoke 59 times in the raid channel
Shadowpuma hid in the shadows and spoke 17 times in the raid channel
Orcman started his sentences with 'ok' 74 times
If you want to know how many mobs were killed as to how much loot dropped, your looking at the wrong reporter :)
Other than everything reported above the raid to Hate was a very good and successful event. I think everyone had fun and if they didn't they hid it very well. Congrats to all those that obtained loot. And a final mention, Welcome Rokky to the Sceptered Isle Guild. Rokky the Shaman was invited to join near the end of the raid as everyone was up on the 2nd Floor. I'm sure we'll all see a lot more of him in the future.
